Founded in 1980, the Salina Area Builders Association has grown to represent nearly 100 dedicated members across Salina and the surrounding communities. Kansas Builders Insurance Group
KBIG, is a Group Self-Insurance Fund in its third decade of operation. KBIG was born out of a need for accessible and affordable workers compensation insurance for contractors in Kansas. Together with the Flint Hills Area Builders Association, Kansas Building Industry Association, (KBIA), a small group of builders and construction companies formed the work comp fund.
